The Importance of Walking Breaks

Fanwood Chiropractor Eric Chludzinski explains the importance of taking walking breaks throughout the day.

Standing desks are becoming more popular in the workplace; however, prolonged standing can increase the risk for back pain and other musculoskeletal problems. In this study, researchers observed that participants who took a five-minute walking break every half-hour were less likely to experience standing-induced low back pain after two hours than those who didn't take breaks.
