Migraines Linked to Loss of Neck Range of Motion Explained by Fanwood Chiropractor

Compared to women without a history of headaches in Fanwood, researchers found that women suffering from frequent migraines have a reduced cervical range of motion.

The research team notes that for women with chronic migraines, there appears to be a relationship between reduced cervical mobility and both migraine frequency and disability-related neck pain.

Past research has shown that dysfunction in the neck may contribute to migraines and that treatments to improve cervical function-such as manual therapies performed by a doctor of chiropractic-may reduce migraine frequency and intensity.
