Joint Mobilization Helps Patients in Fanwood with Arthritis of the Hand

Arthritis affects roughly 31 million American adults, with the joints of the hand being among the most commonly affected. In this study, researchers applied manual joint mobilization to the hands of twelve patients with rheumatoid arthritis and eight patients with osteoarthritis of the hand once a week for four weeks and observed the patients reported less pain and greater joint mobility up to a month following the conclusion of treatment. Joint mobilization is a form of treatment commonly provided by doctors of chiropractic.
