Getting Fit in Middle Age Can Boost Life Span

It's never too late to begin exercising. A review of two decades of data concerning 315,000 adults found that those who exercised all their lives had a 36% lower risk of dying during the study period than to those who never exercised.

However, researchers were surprised to find that people who did not start becoming physically active until their 40s and 50s had nearly the same reduced risk for early death as lifelong exercisers.
