Back Pain in Fanwood May Affect Hip Arthroscopy Outcomes

While the optimal situation is for a patient with a hip or knee condition to avoid surgery, this isn't always an option.

However, recent studies have shown that patients who undergo hip or knee replacement surgery have an elevated risk for a poor outcome if they have co-morbid spinal pain.

These findings suggest that surgeons should advise patients with spinal conditions about postoperative expectations and that managing such conditions (with conservative treatment options like chiropractic care, for example) may result in better outcomes.
