Fanwood Chiropractor Explains How Back Curve Affects Lumbar Stenosis

Spinal stenosis is a debilitating condition associated with the degeneration of the spine, which can have a wide range of symptoms including back pain, leg pain, numbness, and tingling in the legs as well as reduced physical function.

In a study that involved 29 patients with spinal stenosis, researchers observed an association between back pain aggravation and both increased pelvic tilt and lumbar lordosis.

The findings suggest that addressing spinal and pelvic alignment among spinal stenosis patients is important to reduce or avoid back pain aggravation.
