Back Pain is Common Among Nurses in
Fanwood

Among a sample of 384 hospital nurses, 69% reported they currently had lower back pain in Fanwood, and 78.9% had experienced an episode of lower back pain in the last twelve months.

According to researchers, factors that can increase a nurse's risk for low back pain include: advancing age, being overweight/obese, and having more work experience.

Furthermore, 40% of the nurses in the study said that low back pain resulted in missed work, nearly 60% said low back pain lowered their productivity, and 9% admitted that their condition had forced them to transfer to another department in the hospital.
