Movement Helps Patients With Knee Osteoarthritis in Fanwood

Though it seems counterintuitive, a new study finds that spending more time moving around actually helps patients suffering from knee osteoarthritis in Fanwood.

In the study, which included 1,873 adults with osteoarthritis of the knee, researchers found that patients who replaced one hour of sedentary activity each day with one hour of light-physical activity were less likely to have a slower walking speed two years later.

Doctors of chiropractic at Fanwood Back Relief Center in Fnawood & Scotch Plains commonly recommend adopting an exercise routine to patients with knee osteoarthritis, as movement is required for vital nutrients to absorb into cartilaginous tissues.
